Marshmallow Munchers game - Dolch Sight Words

Who doesn't like to curl up in the winter with a hot cup of cocoa and marshmallows??? 



I love this game and my kiddos love it even more than that! I call it Marshmallow Munchers and it is a fantastic way to motivate kids to practice reading common sight words.

Basically each child chooses a cute "cocoa cup" and 10 tiny marshmallows!

 When the student reads a sight word correctly, he/she gets to eat a marshmallow from his/her cup! Kids love that!!!

I hope your kids enjoy this game as much as my kiddos do!!

  2. Jennifer - I just couldn't resist! They are adorable.... I used to use this activity with hand drawn cups and marshmallows. This just makes it WAY too cute!!!
